Benson Restaurants

Once an area consisting mostly of bars and bakeries, the Benson area has been reinvented in recent years. Now it’s a hub for some of Omaha’s best restaurants, including a pair (Yoshitomo and Au Courant) that were named semifinalists for the James Beard Award in 2020.

All restaurants are rated on a 4-star scale. This is not a complete list—if your favorite restaurant isn’t listed here, I’m working on it. As much as I’ve eaten out in Omaha, I haven’t been everywhere (yet) and will constantly be updating and adding to these lists. If a restaurant isn’t listed, it’s probably on my seemingly never-ending list of awesome Omaha joints I want to try. I ask for your patience.
