Best Breakfast in Omaha

There’s no better way to start off the day than with a hearty breakfast. A delicious, filling meal can improve your mood, stave off hunger, and set the tone for the day.

And fortunately, Omaha has a lot of tremendous breakfast restaurants to get you started on the right foot. In one man’s opinion, these are the best places to get breakfast in Omaha.

Restaurants are rated on a 4-star scale and are located in Omaha unless otherwise indicated. I’ve included some in surrounding cities, especially Lincoln, to add some diversity.

Restaurants that only have brunch on the weekends will be marked with an “*”

  1. PITCH has a great brunch. Been better and better the last few years. Huge menu and all of it is so good. Just had the short rib burrito today and it was amazing!

  2. My wife and I absolutely love Pitch! We’ve never done brunch there, though… we might need to change that! Thanks!

  3. You need to go to Leo’s in Benson. Have either the Fantasy Island or the Roxi Burrito, can’t beat chili and green chili for breakfast.

  4. Thanks for the reply! I’ve been to the Summer Kitchen many, many times… it was a family favorite growing up, and the restaurant that introduced me to pigs in a blanket! I will admit that I need to get back and do a review; I appreciate the suggestion.

  5. Louie M’s Burger Lust for breakfast is legit. Can’t believe they didn’t get a mention.

  6. Thanks for the feedback! This list (at least to this point) is strictly for burger-only places, not other restaurants that serve brunch on weekends. For instance, Barchen Beer Garden and Herbe Sainte do awesome brunch, but I wouldn’t characterize them as breakfast restaurants, so they’re not on this list. However, maybe that’s something I should reconsider. I appreciate the comment.
